About the Digital Fabrication for Artists Residency Program
This program provides local, underserved artists with education on digital fabrication tools, studio space, tool access, materials stipend, final showcase- for free.
The program provides a series of intensive, hands-on classes in 3D printing, laser cutting and more, plus 24/7 access to dedicated studio space and equipment.
Upon completion of the classes, residents create a final showcase for Troy’s annual Victorian Stroll celebration, which draws in thousands of visitors each year.
The 2025 residency is currently taking place, and is offered in partnership with Collar Works as a co-residency opportunity.

Launchbox provides individual warehouse and work suites from 150 to 1,000 square feet. For no extra charge, Launchbox members also enjoy access to support spaces and amenities including a three-bay loading dock, material handling equipment, photo studio, coworking cafe, meeting rooms, redundant high-speed Internet and more. The facility is fully climate controlled and accessible 24/7.
